The Hovinais Day Centre provides a safe, caring, and structured environment for young children whose mothers are participating in education, training, or community development programmes.
This allows mothers to focus on building skills and independence, while their children are supported in a nurturing and educational setting.
🤝 Supporting Women In Difficult Circumstances
Many of the women supported through this programme are single mothers who have experienced domestic violence or who are raising children without stable financial support. The Day Centre offers stability during a critical time of transition, helping families move towards independence and self-sufficiency.
Our focus is not only care, but long-term empowerment for both mothers and children.

While children are at the centre, they take part in early learning activities designed to support their development, including:
